Last weekend, I went to see "The Martian" with Mark and I figured I'd do a review on it.
Overall, I thought the movie was very well developed, and coming from someone who read the book, it followed the plot very well and never wandered off topic. Although it did miss some minor details that I thought were somewhat important, but I never lost interest, and there was always something going on, so I never got bored. It was around 2.5 hours long and could be slow at a few points, but something always happened to pull you back in, cause you know, outer space. If you get the chance, I recommend that you both read the book and afterwards go to see the movie, one of my favorite books and a very good movie!
