As some of you may know already, Mr. O'Dell does not have any time to put toward Surface MEDIA this year. And unfortunately Mrs. Hetzel, Mrs. Price (who is taking up DM classes), Mr. Barickman, and any of the other teachers I've tried to contact about it have been unable to put forth the time for us either. That leaves two options. The first is to somehow find a teacher who has both qualifications and interest and time to sponsor us, which seems unlikely, and the only possibilities in our school that come to mind are Mr. Burnett and Mr. Young, though I am unaware of any previous engagements for their time. The second option is to run our club from outside of school, and not even connect it to our school. While this does not allow us to use the school computers, it does give the opportunity to include members from outside our school district and/or age range, and I have several program links for free software that does many of the things we would use at the school. The major downside to this, though, is finding a public place to meet. Any Ideas, email me, PM me, or contact me via some other way. Please, Please, don't let Surface MEDIA fall by the wayside. A one year legacy in which we didn't accomplish anything is just not enough to say you were a part of. We should aim to accomplish something more this year, if we can get running.
